About CREDAI Latur
Latur is a city in Maharashtra state, India, and is one of the largest cities of the Marathwada region. The City is well connected with the Larger Cities like Pune, Hyderabad and Aurangabad. Latur is also known for its historic Earthquake of 1993 and recently for water scarcity in 2016.
The city of Latur is famous for its LATUR PATTERN and has a unique identity at National level for Education. Many migrate to Latur for quality education. In addition to this the Latur has a long History of renowned Politicians. The Political leaders of Latur have not only dominated at State level but have done a recognisable job at National level too. With proper administration and quality political support the City of Latur is quite disciplined and a liveable city.
The Latur region is known as the “Sugar Belt of India”. This region houses over eleven large sugar factories. Most of the sugar factories of the Latur sugar belt work on the co-operative basis. In addition to this there are number of Dal Mills & Solvents in Latur. Latur has been one of the prominent city in manufacturing Processed Dal and related products.
CREDAI Latur was formed in the year 2011 and has contributed in the development of Latur city for last more than 11 years. There was lack of awareness within the people of city regarding the genuinity of a Developer building a project. The Past Presidents and the senior member of CREDAI Latur has worked a tirelessly in the needed direction. As a result of sincere efforts from all the senior members of the CREDAI there are many projects present and are on-going with positive approach in the City. CREDAI Latur has always worked for the benefit of its member and regarding same has met different authorities and tried to resolve the issues. Today the members of CREDAI Latur works professionally and are always ready to adapt new technologies and try to give the best product to its customers.
CREDAI Latur has created its own LATUR PATTERN in the field of development and construction and the same is recognised by the administrative body of Latur.
CREDAI LATUR ACTIVITIES
Tree Plantation
CYW has initiated and planted more than 20,000 Trees in Latur Last year.The trees were not only planted but also nurtured and well maintained.
This year again the CYW Latur targets to plant nearly 30,000 trees in Latur.
Social Work during Covid-19 Lockdown
We at CREDAI Latur always strive to contribute in welfare of society because we think we owe it to the society. That’s why when Pandemic hit in 2020 CREDAI Latur has under taken the distribution of PPE Kits to Medical staff during Pandemic. CREDAI Latur has also provided food to more than 200 families during the hard times of first lockdown.
Disaster Management
Recently when heavy floods hit the regions of Sangli, Kolhapur, Satara, Ratnagiri, Chiplun CREDAI Latur contributed handsome amount for the noble cause of disaster management.
CREDAI Latur has sent special ambulance to Sangli for the treatment of the needed during the hard times of floods
Roadside Tree Plantation
In association with Latur Municipal Corporation, CREDAI Latur has planted nearly 1.0 Km of stretch of road divider. CREDAI Latur team has not only planted but has maintained the same throughout the year.
Labour Welfare
Construction Labours are pillar of Building & Development initiatives. it is important to ensure that all labours are healthy and satisfied.
CREDAI Latur in association with Labour welfare department has conducted Labour registration drive at mass. CREDAI has also conducted the vaccination camp for labour at few sites.
CREDAI in association with Labour welfare department has successfully started the Mid-day meal for all the labours at Latur.
